At the south end of Banks Lake.
Coulee City sits at the south end of Banks Lake, the end where the lake’s water heads out to irrigate the Columbia Basin. It’s up the coulee from Soap Lake, on US 2, with open wheat country to the east.
It’s the north half of Grant County, and it’s still part of our regular service area. Homes here sit on open ground, so the wind and the long summer sun do most of the work on a roof.
Out here, a small problem caught early costs a lot less than a big one found late. A photo report shows you what’s going on up there without a second trip.
Where Coulee City roofs give out.
Wind across open ground
Wheat country doesn’t slow the wind down. Ridges, rakes and the first row of shingles at the eaves lift first, so that’s where we look first.
Sun-dried shingles
Long summers dry out the slopes that face the afternoon sun. That side of the roof usually shows wear years before the other.
Cracked pipe boots
Rubber boots around plumbing vents split with age and sun, and water runs straight down the pipe into the attic. It’s a quick fix once it’s found.
Roofing first, exterior too.
New roofs, leak repairs and inspections are the core of the work. Exterior projects come along when a job needs them.
Roof replacement
Tear-off to the deck, new membrane, underlayment, metal and shingles, built for Coulee City wind and sun.
How it works02Leaks & repairs
We trace Coulee City leaks back to the flashing, boot or seam that’s letting water in, then fix that spot.
How it works03Roof inspections
A plain report with a photo of every item, marked good, watch or repair.
How it works04Exterior work
Decks, exterior painting, fascia and trim repairs, and additions tied into the roof.

Coulee City roofing questions.
Do you serve Coulee City?
Yes. Coulee City is about 33 miles north of our shop in Moses Lake and part of our Grant County service area. Call (509) 998-1944 to set a time.
Do you work in Hartline and Wilson Creek too?
Yes. Both are Grant County towns, and we work there as well.
Will you tell me if it only needs a repair?
Yes. If a repair will do it, we say so, and the photos show why. If it needs a new roof, you see why in the photos too.
What happens to the old roof on a replacement?
It’s torn off and hauled away, and the yard gets a magnetic sweep for nails before we leave.
