The far corner of the county, still in range.
Mattawa is the farthest town on our regular list, down along SR 243 near the Columbia River, with Desert Aire just to the south. It’s still Grant County, and we still make the drive.
The May 28, 2026 windstorm reached Mattawa too, according to the Columbia Basin Herald. Summers here are long and hot, so sun-facing slopes and attic ventilation get a close look on every roof.
Where Mattawa roofs give out.
Long, hot summers
Shingles on the slopes that face the afternoon sun dry out and age first. That’s usually where wear shows up.
Wind off open ground
Orchards and open land don’t slow the wind much. Lifted edges and ridges get resealed or replaced.
Cracked boots and sealant
Rubber pipe boots and old sealant break down in the heat and let water in around vents. They’re a quick fix once they’re found.
Roofing first, exterior too.
New roofs, leak repairs and inspections are the core of the work. Exterior projects come along when a job needs them.
Roof replacement
Tear-off to the deck, new membrane, underlayment, metal and shingles, built for Mattawa wind and sun.
How it works02Leaks & repairs
We trace Mattawa leaks back to the flashing, boot or seam that’s letting water in, then fix that spot.
How it works03Roof inspections
A plain report with a photo of every item, marked good, watch or repair.
How it works04Exterior work
Decks, exterior painting, fascia and trim repairs, and additions tied into the roof.
