The top end of Grant County.
Grand Coulee and Electric City sit at the north end of Banks Lake, next to Grand Coulee Dam. It’s the far end of Grant County from Moses Lake, and it’s still part of our service area.
Both towns grew up with the dam, so there are plenty of older homes here. Older homes come with older roof decks, chimneys and flashing, and those are the places we check first.
Because it’s a long drive for most contractors, we’d rather plan it right: a look at the roof and the attic, photos of what we find, and a written estimate before any work starts.
Where Grand Coulee roofs give out.
Older decks and chimneys
On older homes, soft roof boards and worn chimney flashing are common finds. A full tear-off lets us fix the deck instead of covering it up.
Wind off the lake and the coulee
Homes on the hillsides and along the water take wind from open ground. Ridges, rakes and eaves get checked by hand.
Freeze–thaw at the eaves
Water that backs up and freezes at the roof edge works under shingles. On a new roof, ice and water membrane goes along the eaves, in the valleys and around pipes.
Roofing first, exterior too.
New roofs, leak repairs and inspections are the core of the work. Exterior projects come along when a job needs them.
Roof replacement
Tear-off to the deck, new membrane, underlayment, metal and shingles, built for Grand Coulee wind and sun.
How it works02Leaks & repairs
We trace Grand Coulee leaks back to the flashing, boot or seam that’s letting water in, then fix that spot.
How it works03Roof inspections
A plain report with a photo of every item, marked good, watch or repair.
How it works04Exterior work
Decks, exterior painting, fascia and trim repairs, and additions tied into the roof.
